    Description

    The primary responsibility of the Regional Vice President (RVP) is to oversee the programmatic operation of 5-6 Posse sites. RVPs manage the directors of assigned sites and work closely with Associate Vice Presidents and other members of the national team to maintain programmatic integrity and ensure success at the site level. RVPs will utilize their experience, expertise and data to support best practices for program and operational success. Specific attention will be paid to successful delivery of the Dynamic Assessment Process (DAP), Pre-Collegiate Training (PCT), the Campus program and Career + Alumni programming. RVPs will work closely with site Directors to maintain strong relationships with nominating institutions, college and university partners, career partners, and the Scholar and alumni community. RVPs will work closely with the executive team and other national departments to support training, special events, university relations and external affairs.

    The RVP must be highly motivated, organized, enthusiastic, willing to travel, a great communicator, hardworking, a strong role model and team-player. The RVP reports to the Chief Operating Officer.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide leadership support and oversight to assigned site/site directors.
    • Conduct weekly check-in meetings with site directors.
    • Travel to sites and partner campuses as needed
    • Maximize and optimize relationships with college and university partners, career partners, etc.
    • Act as interim on-site or remotely in the event of a director vacancy
    • Supervise and support annual goal setting for sites for programmatic metrics (nominations, persistence, graduation rates, attendance)
    • Work closely and collaboratively with the other RVP, as well as the Associate Vice Presidents (AVP) and other members of the national team to optimize program delivery and performance across all sites they oversee
    • Represent the national organization at the local level
    • Ensure the integrity and quality of the Posse program across all the sites
    • Help develop and implement new national initiatives

    Qualifications:

    • Track record as a strong and inspiring leader
    • 10+ years of senior-level management experience required
    • Experience developing senior leadership
    • Graduate degree preferred
    • Excellent interpersonal skills
    • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task
    • Decisive
    • Self-motivated
    • Excellent writing and communication skills
    • Knowledge of university structure and policy
    • Knowledge of higher education and educational access
    • Willing to travel
    • Demonstrated belief in Posses mission and values
