    Description

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Monitor and model healthy relationships between staff and students
    • Oversee student attendance, supervision, and safety
    • Communicate effectively with parents, families, and school day staff
    • Maintain digital and hard copy site-specific database information and reports
    • Oversee storage and upkeep of borrowed classroom space
    • Assist with the organization and use of program materials and inventory
    • Assist with program registration and enrollment
    • Assist with training and managing support staff members

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Hold or be eligible to obtain a California Child Development Site Supervisor Permit and meet all California Department of Social Services Community Care Licensing requirements for employment in a licensed child care program.
    • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, Education, Human Development, Social Work, or a related field preferred.
    • Minimum of two years of experience supervising staff and coordinating programs serving elementary and/or middle school-age youth.
    • Demonstrated commitment to youth development, equity, and empowerment, with experience creating inclusive, developmentally appropriate environments for diverse communities.
    • Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
    • Proficiency with Google Workspace and enrollment or student information systems.
    • Flexible, creative, and solution-oriented, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and respond calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
    • Must pass Live Scan fingerprinting (background check) and provide proof of a negative TB test.

    COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

    • Pay Range: $28-$32/hr, depending on experience.
