    Description

    Are you a strategic leader with a deep commitment to the early childhood workforce? As the CCR&R Services Manager, you will be the architect of provider-facing service delivery for Washington County. You will lead a multidisciplinary team to strengthen the quality, consistency, and effectiveness of coaching, training, and technical assistance. In this role, you aren't just managing a program; you are driving systemic change to ensure every child has access to high-quality care by supporting the educators who make it possible.

    Abbreviated Duties List:

    • Oversee coaching, training, and technical assistance functions. You will ensure these services align with program models like Preschool Promise, Focused Child Care Networks, and Inclusion supports.
    • Provide high-level supervision to CCR&R Coordinators who manage teams of Inclusion Specialists, Mental Health Consultants, and Coaching staff.
    • Represent the CCR&R in service-related partnerships and lead our role in the Every Child Belongs (ECB) initiative.
    • Partner closely with the Systems & Access Manager to create seamless referral pathways and a consistent experience for child care providers.
    • Manage complex budgets, monitor grant-funded contracts, and identify potential risks or gaps in service delivery to ensure long-term program health.

    Abbreviated Requirements:

    • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Social Work, Public Administration, or a Step 10 on the Oregon Registry. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
    • Minimum of 3 years in ECE program leadership, including direct staff supervision.
    • Minimum of 3 years managing complex programs, contracts, or grant-funded services.
    • Enrollment in Oregon Central Background Registry prior to offer of employment being extended.
    • Requires a valid Oregon driver's license, proof of auto insurance for a private vehicle, and access to reliable transportation.

    What Will Make You Stand Out:

    • Master's degree in ECE or a related field.
    • Experience with coaching models or technical assistance in early childhood settings.
    • Familiarity with Oregon's ECE systems (Spark, Preschool Promise, etc.).
    • Bilingual English/Spanish, written and verbal
