ABOUT HUB CYCLING'S BIKE EDUCATION PROGRAMS
HUB Cycling delivers bike education programs to thousands of youth and adults across British Columbia each year. Our courses are customized for various ages and skill levels and are delivered by our team of trained instructors at schools, community centers, and workplaces. Participants build the skills and confidence needed for safe and enjoyable urban cycling, and consistently report cycling more often after taking a course.
HUB Cycling has two primary education programs: Bike to School and StreetWise. Bike to School includes bike safety courses and biking school buses in schools across the province. StreetWise includes online and in person courses for the public, as well as Kids on Wheels, Camps, and specialized courses for specific communities and workplaces.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The StreetWise Programs Manager reports to the Director of Bike Education and oversees HUB Cycling’s StreetWise program, including the StreetWise Cycling Education Centres (SWCEC), StreetWise Online, Kids on Wheels, Camps, progressive courses, workplace cycling workshops, and custom programming. This hands-on role combines program coordination with direct instruction and supports broader bike education initiatives, including Bike to School programs. The StreetWise Manager works closely with the Director on grant and fee-for-service initiatives, program development, funding efforts, and budget oversight.

TERMS:
This is a position of 28-35 hours/week. Starting late April or May, 2026 with compensation of $29.40-32.64 per hour, depending on alignment with our core requirements, years of additional experience, and the unique value of your lived experience/complementary skills, which we view as a professional asset to our team.
All staff are expected to work remotely part-time. The successful candidate will need access to their own cell phone and a reliable home internet connection. Office space is available several days a week, at 312 Main Street, Vancouver and Bike Education team members are expected to attend an in-person weekly meeting on Wednesdays.
