    Description

15 guaranteed hours per week | Monday–Friday over lunch | Starting at $22.50/hour

A steady part-time job. A meaningful way to spend your day.

Looking for reliable part-time income and work you can feel good about? Join Culinary Care’s weekday meal delivery team and help families facing cancer have one less thing to worry about.

Culinary Care is a nonprofit that provides free, restaurant-prepared meals to people receiving outpatient chemotherapy. Our delivery team helps ensure those meals arrive with care, giving patients and their loved ones comfort during long treatment days.

We’re looking for dependable people who can consistently work all five weekdays during late morning and lunch. You’ll have a predictable routine, guaranteed weekly hours, and your evenings and weekends free.

    Schedule & Pay

    • 15 guaranteed paid hours each week.
    • Monday–Friday availability required during late morning and lunch.
    • Starting at $22.50/hour—$337.50 per week before taxes for 15 hours.
    • Consistent weekly schedule.
    • Additional paid holiday hours.
    • W-2 employee position.
    • Paid, on-the-job training.
    • Opportunities for raises based on experience and tenure.

    Who This Role Is For

This could be a great fit if you:

    • Want steady part-time work without committing to full days.
    • Can reliably make this role part of your routine five days a week.
    • Have late mornings and lunchtime available.
    • Enjoy driving, staying active, and helping others.
    • Want to build an ongoing connection with a team and a cause.

Whether you’re retired, returning to the workforce, or looking for a consistent part-time role, we’d love to meet you.

    What You’ll Do

    • Pick up freshly prepared meals from local restaurant partners.
    • Deliver meals to hospitals throughout Chicago.
    • Carry meal bags and navigate hospital buildings.
    • Help ensure each delivery arrives on time and with care.
    • Work alongside a supportive team committed to helping families facing cancer.

    What You’ll Need

    • Consistent availability five days per week, Monday–Friday, over lunch.
    • Reliability and punctuality—patients and teammates count on you.
    • A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
    • Comfort driving throughout Chicago.
    • A friendly, compassionate approach.
    • Ability to lift and carry meal bags weighing 20–30 pounds and walk within hospitals.

Make Caring Part of Your Daily Routine

A meal can provide a welcome break during hours of chemotherapy, give a caregiver one less task to manage, and remind a family that someone is thinking of them.

Your work helps make that possible, every weekday.

If you’re looking for dependable part-time hours and a team that depends on you, we’d love to hear from you.

Work location: In person; restaurant pickups and hospital deliveries throughout Chicago.

    Benefits

    Paid holidays.

    Level of Language Proficiency

English. Spanish as a second language is a plus!
