    Description

    We’re an independent film organization launching our latest feature, Counted Out. This full-time position demands exceptional organization, adaptability, and time management. You’ll oversee screening operations, communications, and impact distribution, while managing projects, systems, and partnerships in a fast-moving environment. It’s a dynamic role for someone who can pivot quickly, balance competing priorities, and still deliver with professionalism and heart.

    Responsibilities:

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for screening hosts, building strong relationships through personable and professional communication.
    • Manage screening inquiries, licensing, and logistics from start to finish.
    • Lead and train the Screening Coordination team, ensuring clarity, consistency, and accountability.
    • Oversee systems management across Streak CRM, Zapier, Formstack, and Google Workspace.
    • Pull reports, analyze data, and identify efficiencies to improve team performance and workflows.
    • Maintain organized databases, event tracking, and delivery systems.
    • Support communications, including website, newsletters, client-facing documentation, and social media.

    Position Attributes and Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree
    • 3–5 years work experience ideally in campaigns, marketing, sales, communications and/or community engagement
    • Strong intellect and work ethic; a self-starter
    • Exceptional time management, multitasking, and prioritization
    • Strong organizational skills
    • Positive attitude; confident, assertive, and self-motivated
    • Clear and personable phone and email communication
    • Relationship-building and client management
    • Project management and systems thinking
    • Data reporting and efficiency analysis
    • Team leadership and training
    • Software proficiency: Streak, Zapier, Formstack, Google Workspace
    • Experience with InDesign, Dropbox, Photoshop a plus
    • An interest in documentary films and/or social impact

    Strong preference to Bay Area candidates with the option for hybrid.
