The Project Coordinator will support the successful advancement of AHSHAY projects, working closely with a Project Manager to help assure that projects come fully to fruition. This role will participate in aspects of project ideation, development, launch, process advancement, project conclusion, and after-project engagement. The Project Coordinator will be highly organized, talented in relationship-building, skilled in supporting project gatherings, and an enthusiastic team member who functions in a way that aligns with AHSHAY values and contributes, in general ways, to the continuing growth of the center.
Position Key Roles:
• Project Planning: In close partnership with the Project Manager and Project Director/Center Director, coordinate and participate in project planning. This can include initial ideation, scope development, project charter creation, and logistical development, including timelines. The project coordinator may be responsible for some of the note-taking and other document development created in support of project planning.
• Project Recruitment: Under a Project Manager’s guidance, the Project Coordinator will take a primary role in project recruitment. This may involve the direct recruitment of youth, intergenerational participants, partner organizations, contributing contracted parties, and other interested people. The Project Coordinator may work with AHSHAY’s Narrative Strategist to distribute relevant project recruitment content.
• Project Process: Under a Project Manager’s and Project Director’s guidance, the Project Coordinator will play a vital role in assuring project steps are successfully accomplished. This may involve actively supporting project launch events, helping organize project steps, supporting project gatherings, providing communications to various project partners, being a point of contact, supporting adjustments to project steps that are identified by the Project Manager, and supporting the development of progress reports. Strong interpersonal skills and relationship-maintaining abilities are pivotal to this work.
• Project Completion: In close collaboration with a Project Manager, help assure a project comes to successful completion. This can mean contributing to the creation of reports, communicating with contracted parties to assure deliverables are completed in a timely fashion and engagement with youth and other partners after project completion. Some project completion cycles will also involve planning the next iteration of a project and the project coordinator will play an active role in this.
• Support AHSHAY Center: The Project Coordinator may play a role in supporting general AHSHAY functions. This includes being an active participant in AHSHAY team meetings, supporting the Operations Support Manager in general operational aspects of the center, being an ambassador that represents AHSHAY values in external activities, and being a thought-contributor to AHSHAY’s growth plans. A strong understanding of AHSHAY values and approaches is important to being successful in this role. Team Participation and Other Responsibilities

Benefits
Compensation & Benefits • Position Status: Full-time • Salary Range: $81,000-$86,000 annually. This position is budgeted at the midpoint of the salary range. Starting salary will be determined based on qualifications, relevant experience, internal equity, and organizational budget considerations. • Health Benefits: Employer-paid medical, dental, and vision coverage, including 100% of the employee premium and 80% of dependent premiums. • Paid Leave: Paid Time Off (PTO), paid holidays, and paid sick leave, prorated based on FTE status, as applicable. • Retirement: SIMPLE IRA retirement plan with employer contributions, subject to plan eligibility requirements. • Professional Development: Annual professional development funding of $500–$1,000, based on FTE status. • Growth & Impact: Opportunities for professional growth, leadership development, and meaningful, mission-driven community impact.
