    Description

    Job description

COMCorps members create and support social and physical environments that promote good health and wellness for all. Our 25 members serve 1700 hours in 11.5 or 10.5 terms for an average 34-40 hours per week, starting September 2026. Members serve approximately 80% of their time at their host site, while 20% of their time is spent working together as a corps, including teaching Live Healthy Kids or Sprouts. COMCorps partners with Southeast Ohio host-site organizations, which include schools, nonprofits, healthcare systems, and county-level government agencies. Through service, members and organizations will address social determinants of health with a trauma-informed approach, directing members in creative, community-generated solutions to pressing local needs. A list of open host site positions will be available in late March.
