From event branding to social media to print, you’ll have the ability to develop and showcase your skills across a wide range of projects. And once a year, you'll travel with the team to our international event, experiencing firsthand the global community you've helped bring to life. Compensation is commensurate with experience. Position comes with a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, a 401k plan with employer match, and generous paid vacation and sick time.

    • Creating designs for printed merchandise.
    • Updating the design and content of the FIRST Global website using Wordpress.
    • Other tasks as needed.

    We’re looking for:

    • 2+ years experience in graphic design or multimedia, preferably for a nonprofit or mission-driven organization.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a similar field.
    • Someone based and authorized to work in the United States.
    • High proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite of InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
    • Proven graphic design skills, a keen eye for effective design, familiarity with current styles and trends, and a strong grasp of layout and typography principles.
    • Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.
    • Strong international cultural awareness and sensitivity. Fluency in Spanish or French is a plus.
    • Experience editing websites using Wordpress.
    • Highly self-motivated with strong project management skills. Able to work independently and collaboratively while managing multiple priorities.

    • Video and/or motion graphics experience is a plus.
    • Commitment to the mission and guiding principles of FIRST Global.
