About the Bronx & Brooklyn Energy Hub
Solar One has partnered with the Association for Energy Affordability (AEA) and the Center for New York City Neighborhoods (CNYC) to implement the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority’s (NYSERDA) Bronx & Brooklyn Energy Hub (BBEH). These hubs are part of a larger State-wide effort to connect New Yorkers to the Clean Energy Economy.
The Bronx & Brooklyn Energy Hub connects New Yorkers, including renters, homeowners, workforce training seekers, and building owners, to clean energy opportunities and resources. Solar One’s role in the BBEH will be to support equitable workforce development in NYC, ensuring more New Yorkers have access to jobs and training in the growing clean energy industry. Job Summary
Solar One is searching for a Workforce Development Advisor to lead the Clean Energy Workforce segment on behalf of the BBEH. The position is hybrid, with a combination of remote and in-office work, plus on-site events. Occasional weekend and evening work will be required for job fairs and outreach events. This position will deliver information and provide education in a wide variety of settings, including, but not limited to: providing educational tables/booths at community events; presenting before large audiences; making one-on-one phone calls; following up with leads/clients to provide additional information; assisting leads/clients with navigating clean energy workforce programs available to them.

Pay starting at $67,000-$72,000 per year based on experience
