ASAP Executive Director Job Posting
The Organization At a Glance:
After School Activities Partnerships (ASAP) is a Philadelphia-based 501©3 nonprofit organization that empowers Philadelphia youth to build confidence, community and critical thinking through high quality out-of-school-time (OST) opportunities and advocacy. In 2002, ASAP was founded by the legendary youth advocate Marciene Mattleman to raise awareness about the dangers of unsupervised youth after school and mobilize the community to ensure Philadelphia youth were safe, supported and positively engaged. And we’ve been fighting for equitable access to high quality OST programs for Philadelphia youth ever since, “what happens after graduation starts with what happens after school.”
Through citywide initiatives– Chess, Speech & Debate, and Drama – ASAP helps thousands of K-12th grade youth each year discover passions and friendships that can last a lifetime. Supported by strategic partnerships with city agencies, community organizations and a broad network of stakeholders, ASAP has served more than 100,000 school-aged youth since its inception.
