    About the Role:

    We are looking for a highly strategic and creative Senior Manager – Social Media to lead the digital presence of a prominent Founder & Trustee and thought leader whose influence spans education, leadership, mental health, and nation-building.

    This role will own the strategic direction and end-to-end execution of the personal brand across platforms, with a strong focus on video-first storytelling, podcasts, and high-impact event amplification.

    The ideal candidate is proactive, target-driven, creatively sharp, and experienced in managing high-visibility leaders or premium personal brands. The role requires the ability to translate real-world moments into powerful digital narratives.

    Key Responsibilities

    1. Social Media & Personal Brand Strategy
    • Define and lead the end-to-end social media strategy across Instagram, LinkedIn, X, YouTube, and emerging platforms.
    • Build a distinctive, authentic personal brand voice aligned with the larger vision and values.
    • Set clear KPIs for growth, engagement, reach, and impact.
    • Monitor performance regularly and optimize based on insights.
    1. Content, Video & Podcast Strategy
    • Lead ideation and execution of video-first content (Reels, Shorts, long-form videos, episodic formats).
    • Own the social media strategy for podcasts including:
      • Launch positioning and rollout strategy
      • Creation of short-form clips, audiograms, reels, quote cards, and episode highlights
      • Cross-platform amplification (LinkedIn thought leadership, Instagram storytelling, YouTube playlists)
    • Ensure content repurposing to extend lifecycle and maximize reach.
    1. Event & On-Ground Amplification
    • Drive real-time and post-event digital amplification for high-profile events, summits, panels, and speaking engagements.
    • Conceptualize platform-native event content such as:
      • Behind-the-scenes moments
      • Speaker insights and soundbites
      • Live coverage and post-event reflections
    • Collaborate closely with PR, events, and leadership teams for seamless storytelling before, during, and after events.
    1. Execution & Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Oversee end-to-end execution of content calendars ensuring consistency in tone, visuals, and messaging.
    • Collaborate with internal teams (PR, events, design) and external partners (creative agencies, video teams).
    • Ensure content is optimized for platform algorithms and audience behaviour.
    • Create and review performance reports tracking growth and impact.
    1. Team Leadership & Capability Building
    • Lead and mentor a multi-disciplinary social media team including strategists, editors, and designers.
    • Establish creative standards, workflows, and review processes.
    • Encourage experimentation, trend adoption, and continuous learning.
    1. Influencer, Platform & Partnership Management
    • Manage relationships with influencers, collaborators, agents, and platform partners.
    • Identify strategic collaborations aligned with the personal brand positioning.
    1. Analytics, Insights & Reputation Management
    • Track performance using analytics and social listening tools.
    • Present insights and recommendations to leadership.
    • Benchmark against leading global and Indian personal brands.
    • Ensure brand safety and reputational alignment across all communications.

    Experience

    • 8+ years of experience managing social media for personal brands, senior leaders, celebrities, founders, or premium brands.
    • Proven experience with podcast launches, episodic formats, and event-led digital amplification.
    • Strong exposure to agency and creator management.

    Skills & Attributes

    • Highly creative with strong visual and narrative sensibility.
    • Deep understanding of video content, platform trends, and audience behaviour.
    • Resourceful, proactive, and target-oriented.
    • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
