FellowshipLIFE is a nonprofit faith-based organization dedicated to enriching the lives of older adults across New Jersey. Since 1996, we have provided exceptional senior living communities, home care, wellness, and medical services with compassion and excellence.
Position Overview We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team remotely. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining resident and patient information across our internal systems. Responsibilities:
- Accurately entering resident, patient, and operational data into electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Reviewing and verifying data for completeness and accuracy before entry
- Updating and maintaining existing records as needed
- Scanning, filing, and organizing digital documents
- Communicating with internal departments to resolve data discrepancies
- Maintaining strict confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations
- Generating basic reports from data systems as requested
- Flagging errors or inconsistencies to the supervisor promptly
- Meeting daily and weekly data entry targets and deadlines
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum typing speed of 40 WPM
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Basic understanding of medical terminology (preferred but not required)
- Familiarity with EHR systems such as PointClickCare or MatrixCare (a plus)
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations (preferred)
Working Hours:
- Full-Time: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Part-Time: 20–25 hours per week
- Flexible scheduling available
