    Douglass Community Services, Inc. is seeking a visionary Executive Director to

    spearhead our human services agency. As the primary advocate for our mission, you will

    guide strategic operations, lead a dedicated leadership team, maintain strict fiscal

    oversight, and build influential funder relationships to expand our regional impact.

    Role Breakdown

    • Position: Executive Director
    • Classification: Exempt / Full-Time
    • Reports To: Board of Directors
    • Location: Hannibal, MO

    Compensation & Benefits

    • Salary Range: $115,000 - $130,000 annually
    • Paid Time Off: 14 Paid Holidays + 2 week Winter Shutdown (worth over $10,000 in

    paid time away).

    • Upfront Leave: 40 hours of PTO + 24 hours of Unpaid Time Off available immediately.

    PTO Accrual: Earn 6.25% of hours worked from your date of hire, with progressive

    increases after your first year.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Strategic Leadership: Direct day-to-day operations and guide long-range strategic

    plans.

    • Team Management: Supervise and coach the CFO, CHRO, and Directors across Head

    Start, Housing, FGP, Volunteer Programs, and CASA.

    • Financial & Grant Oversight: Manage agency budgets, ensure regulatory compliance,

    and monitor federal grant spending.

    • Community Relations & Fundraising: Serve as the public face of the agency, drive

    donor stewardship, and expand revenue-generating activities.

    Qualifications

    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Education, Psychology, or Social

    Work (Master's preferred).

    • Experience: Minimum 5 years of managerial experience in a non-profit or educational

    organization.

    • Grant Expertise: Proven background in writing and managing federal grants.
    • Technical Skills: Required proficiency in Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace.
