Foundation Associate-Part Time/Remote

The Giving Back Fund (GBF) is a national nonprofit organization that encourages and facilitates charitable giving by professional athletes, celebrities, high net worth individuals, existing nonprofit organizations, corporations and others who truly desire to give back.

We are seeking a part-time Foundation Associate to support the Foundation Managers’ team, working remotely from 9:00 am to -1:00 pm in your time zone.

Responsibilities

• Assist Foundation Managers in submitting payment to Ramp, our 3rd party payment platform
• Interface with banking organizations for donation matters
• Work with Foundation Managers to prepare donation acknowledgements letters
• Research and compile philanthropic and partnership opportunities, as well as prospective corporations, individual donors, and other funding opportunities for foundations (sponsorships, grants, etc.)
• Help create online and offline fundraising campaigns, in collaboration with our Foundation team and clients
• Assist with the coordination of various events, including meetings, live and silent auctions, create, maintain, and manage registration lists and sponsors, collecting contributions onsite at the event, and overall event troubleshooting
• Coordinate communications with clients, partner nonprofit organizations, corporate sponsors, and vendors
• Perform due diligence and contact potential grantees or scholarship recipients
• Provide general administrative support as needed

Qualifications

At least two years experience in an administrative role:

• Previous experience in the nonprofit or philanthropy sectors a big plus
• Strong skills with Google suite and Canva. Pluses: Zoho (or a similar CRM) and Ramp
• Attention to detail
• Ability to empathize with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds as GBF has an international client portfolio
• Excellent, clear and effective listening, oral and written communication skills
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills
• Solid and consistent work ethic
• Skilled at working in high-paced environment, with high volume of tasks
• Quick learner to new and unfamiliar projects/tasks
• Adept at working effectively individually under pressure and meeting deadlines

This is a part time position (9:00 am to -1:00 pm in your time zone) REMOTE position with an hourly rate of $23.00-25.00 an hour based on experience.
