    About the role:

    As the Head of Scaling for a premier education initiative focused on children with intellectual disabilities, you will lead the expansion of a proven model to reach thousands of children nationwide. This role requires a blend of strategic vision, operational excellence, and a deep commitment to social equity. You will be responsible for building government partnerships, managing cross-functional teams, and ensuring high-quality implementation across diverse geographies.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Strategic Leadership
    • Develop and own the multi-year scaling strategy aligned with organizational goals.
    • Identify scaling pathways by forging and managing partnerships with state/central education departments, NGOs, and tech platforms.
    • Translate the organizational vision into actionable plans with clear milestones and success metrics.
    1. Program Management and Expansion
    • Lead regional and national roll-outs, adapting models for local contexts while maintaining program fidelity.
    • Build and lead implementation teams in new geographies.
    • Monitor quality and impact, ensuring course correction and troubleshooting where necessary.
    • Track KPIs and report progress to leadership and funding partners.
    1. Partnerships & Advocacy
    • Represent the initiative in policy spaces and working groups to advocate for inclusive education.
    • Co-create scalable implementation models in direct collaboration with government partners.
    1. Team Leadership & Culture
    • Mentor and manage a high-performing team across programs, operations, content, and training.
    • Foster a culture of excellence, empathy, and continuous learning.
    • Collaborate closely with product and technology teams to enhance program delivery.

    Qualifications & Experience:Total Experience: 12–15 years in education, development, or public systems.

    • Leadership: At least 3–5 years in a leadership or scaling-specific role.
    • Subject Matter Expertise: Strong understanding of disability, inclusive education, or special education.
    • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated experience scaling programs, particularly through government or public systems.

    Required Skills & Competencies

    • Strategic Thinking: Ability to formulate and communicate a long-term strategic vision.
    • Stakeholder Management: Excellent relationship-building skills with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
    • Decision Making: Sound judgment and the ability to make timely decisions under pressure.
    • Change Management: Resilience and adaptability in handling uncertainty or shifting priorities.
    • Technical Proficiency: Skilled in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and basic design/video software.
    • Financial Acumen: Basic understanding of budgeting and financial reporting.
    • Languages: Fluency in English and Hindi.
