Details
Description
ABOUT YOU:
You are tired of feeling forced to pick sides in a never-ending battle of political good versus evil when your heart tells you there is a better way. You are motivated to challenge yourself and others by engaging in an open and free exchange of ideas and opinions. You are passionate about making connections that build the kind of world we all want.
You are looking for an opportunity to build something worth building alongside people who may vote, think, or worship differently than you. You refuse to believe that isn’t possible.
ABOUT US:
At The One America Movement, we believe that faith is a powerful response to the spiritual crisis of toxic polarization in America. We support the religious community in bringing its moral and spiritual resources to bear against toxic polarization. We bring faith communities together across religious, racial, and political divides to build trust and work together to improve their communities. We also support faith leaders as they transcend toxic polarization in their congregations, communities, and across the country.
WHAT WE NEED:
The One America Movement is seeking an experienced Regional Outreach Manager to lead and grow our multifaith work in the Pacific Northwest. This person will build relationships with faith leaders, civic partners, and community stakeholders across the region, helping local leaders connect across deep divides, identify shared concerns, and take action together.
This role will focus primarily on developing One America’s place-based work in the Pacific Northwest while also contributing to broader multifaith network-building efforts. That may include supporting national initiatives such as issue-specific multifaith cohorts, leadership development opportunities, and cross-network programming that helps faith leaders grow, collaborate, and multiply the work in their own communities.
The ideal candidate is a strong relationship builder, strategic organizer, and skilled facilitator who understands the Pacific Northwest and can adapt One America’s model to the needs, culture, and context of the region.
