    Description

The Adirondack Mountain Club (ADK) is seeking a Senior Manager of Annual Giving & Membership who is passionate about ADK’s mission and excited to help grow a strong and sustainable community of supporters.

    POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Senior Manager of Annual Giving & Membership will lead ADK's membership and annual giving efforts, with a primary focus on growing revenue, strengthening donor and member retention, and building a pipeline of future major donors. ADK currently serves more than 14,000 member households and a substantial base of supporters and donors across New York State and the country. This position will help deepen relationships with ADK's thousands of existing members, donors, and supporters, moving them toward greater engagement, increased philanthropy, and long-term investment in ADK's mission.

The successful candidate will oversee membership and annual fund strategies that increase participation and revenue while helping modernize ADK's approach to member engagement. This includes balancing digital tools, online giving, and automated communications with traditional mail and membership experiences that remain important to many long-standing supporters.

This position oversees ADK's mid-level donor program, serving more than 1,000 donors giving between $500 and $5000 annually. Working in partnership with the Senior Director of Development, the position helps build a pipeline of future major donors by strengthening engagement and identifying supporters ready for more personalized cultivation. The role requires a strategic fundraiser with strong experience in membership growth, annual campaigns, direct marketing, and fundraising analytics.

    ABOUT ADK

ADK works to protect New York State wild lands and waters by promoting responsible outdoor recreation and building a statewide constituency of land stewardship advocates. Since 1922, the organization has worked to increase access to the backcountry by building trails, conserving natural areas, and developing a stewardship community that supports the ethical and safe use of New York’s outdoor spaces. A member, donor, and volunteer-supported organization, ADK reaches across New York through its 22 chapters to inspire people to enjoy the outdoors ethically.
