    Job Overview:

    Dress for Success Worldwide is seeking a strategic, detail-oriented Manager, Online Learning & Community Strategy. This is a rare opportunity for a creative, technology-savvy program leader to shape the next chapter of a global digital community that supports women’s economic mobility. The Manager will translate vision into execution by driving engagement, curating compelling content, leveraging AI tools, and activating a vibrant online experience that connects women and network members around the world.

    This role reports to the Senior Program Director and works closely with the Chief Program Officer and Worldwide Programs team to advance the Online Community’s strategy and impact.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Community Growth, Engagement & Digital Strategy

    • Develop and execute strategies to increase membership growth, active participation, and retention
    • Lead a coordinated approach to support network members in connecting the women they serve to the Online Community.
    • Monitor user behavior and engagement analytics to inform strategy and continuous improvement
    • Foster a welcoming, inclusive, and globally relevant digital environment
    • Support the renaming and repositioning of the Online Community as part of broader strategic initiatives

    2. Online Learning, Content & Subject Matter Engagement

    • Develop and manage a strategic content calendar aligned with program priorities
    • Support the design and host virtual workshops, webinars, and learning experiences grounded in adult learning principles
    • Recruit, manage, and support subject matter experts to deliver high-quality, accessible programming
    • Ensure content is globally relevant, reflects diverse lived experiences and aligns with client-centered and inclusive service standards
    • Curate and elevate strong Network Member curricula and resources within the platform to strengthen peer learning

    3. Technology, AI & Platform Innovation

    • Oversee day-to-day platform functionality to ensure seamless user experience
    • Identify and implement AI-enabled tools to enhance content creation, personalization, engagement tracking, and insights
    • Leverage data analytics to improve user journeys and platform performance
    • Stay abreast of emerging trends in digital communities, online learning, and AI-driven engagement
    • Recommend platform enhancements that strengthen scalability and global accessibility

    Competencies:

    • Strong understanding of engagement metrics, digital analytics, and audience development
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; proficiency in additional languages strongly preferred to support engagement across our global network.
    • Highly organized with strong project management capabilities
    • Technology-forward mindset with demonstrated experience leveraging AI tools
    • Ability to work across cultures and engage a global audience, with an understanding of diverse needs and lived experiences
    • Passion for advancing women’s economic opportunity

    Required Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Education, Nonprofit Management, Social Sciences, or a related field
    • 2+ years of experience in digital community management, social media strategy, online education, or related fields
    • 2+ years experience in nonprofit, workforce development, or mission-driven settings.
    • Demonstrated success growing or activating online communities or digital platforms
    • Experience working with content creators, facilitators, or subject matter experts

    Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

    This is a full-time position with a business schedule from Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM. Employees must work 35 hours each week to maintain full-time status. Limited travel may be required.

    Work Environment

    Dress for Success Worldwide offers a congenial work environment. The dress code is business smart/business casual and employees work on-site in our New York City office three days per week and remotely two days per week.

    Physical Demands

    Employee may need to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds in performing regular office duties and managing records, files, and materials.
