    Description

    The Climate Resiliency Organizer at Inland Coalition for Immigrant Justice will lead outreach and community engagement efforts for the High Desert Community Resilience Center Project, which will be located in Adelanto, California. This role focuses on grassroots organizing and popular education to empower and mobilize community members around immigrant and environmental justice issues. The Organizer will engage stakeholders to raise awareness of the intersection between environmental justice and public health, while promoting increased community involvement in the creation of the High Desert Community Resilience Center. The Climate Resiliency Organizer is expected to uphold the values and mission of ICIJ in their daily work. We expect individuals to represent ideals of integrity, respect, accountability, compassion, and leadership.

    Benefits

    Part-time employees (working at least twenty hours per week) shall accrue annual leave and sick leave in proportion to regular hours worked in each pay period. Eligible for a one time selfcare stipend of $300 after one month of work.

    Level of Language Proficiency

    Fluency in Spanish or other relevant languages is preferred
