    About Us

We are a mission‑driven educational foundation committed to expanding opportunity and strengthening teaching and learning within Montgomery County Public Schools (MD). We believe that strong systems, thoughtful stewardship, and data‑driven fundraising help us serve more people—and we’re looking for someone who shares that belief. We are a small team aiming to make a big impact for a big school system.

    🌟 About the Role

The Development Operations & Administrative Manager ensures our fundraising engine runs smoothly and effectively. You’ll manage our donor CRM, process gifts, support campaigns, and help create meaningful donor experiences. You will also serve as the front office leader - a resource and first point of contact for supporters of MCPSEF, as well as students and educators of MCPS. This role is perfect for someone who loves clean data, organized systems, and work that directly supports K-12 public education.

    🎯 Key Responsibilities

    • Manage the donor CRM database and ensure accurate, high‑quality data
    • Process donations and prepare timely gift acknowledgments
    • Support annual and digital fundraising campaigns
    • Produce reports and dashboards to guide fundraising strategy
    • Maintain stewardship systems and donor touchpoint tracking
    • Support online giving forms, email lists, and website updates
    • Provide administrative support

    🧠 What You Bring

    • Experience with donor databases (Raiser’s Edge, Salesforce, Bloomerang, etc.)
    • Strong attention to detail and comfort working with data
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort with technology
    • A collaborative, proactive mission‑driven mindset
    • Experience with website content management systems is a plus
