TC's Community - Caregiver

TC's Community is a one-of-a-kind nonprofit built by family and friends around one remarkable woman. She is an active, joyful individual with autism who communicates in her own unique way and lives life fully. Our mission is simple: to ensure she has a safe, happy home, rich relationships, and a meaningful presence in the community she loves.

We're looking for a compassionate, dependable caregiver to join our small, close-knit team and be a consistent, caring presence in her daily life. If you lead with warmth, think on your feet, and find genuine satisfaction in supporting someone else's quality of life, we'd love to meet you.

What You'll Do:

• Be a steady, engaged presence, participating in her favorite activities, creating new ones, at home and in the community.
• Support her safety and well-being throughout the day and night, including overnight assistance as needed
• Help her complete daily routines while bringing creativity and flexibility to each day
• Offer encouragement and emotional support as she navigates daily tasks
• Communicate openly with TC's Community about any changes in her health or well-being, and document as needed

Who We're Looking For:

• Caring, curious, and creative: you bring a good sense of humor and genuine interest in who she is as a person
• Comfortable in a variety of settings and able to problem-solve calmly and independently
• Reliable and flexible
• Comfortable with basic technology (iPad/tablet use)
• A valid driver's license and proof of adequate auto insurance
• Ability to lift 40+ lbs regularly
• High school diploma or GED, no prior caregiving experience required
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English for documentation purposes
• Must be female and a non-smoker, required due to the nature of this residential, personal care role
• Willingness to pass background and motor vehicle checks (also Colorado Adult Protective Services: CAPS check)
• Active individual with physical ability to move quickly when needed.
