Growing Good Nature-Based Learning Educator

The Growing Good Nature-based Learning Educator will work with REP staff members and partners to lead and support the Growing Good program at the Foodlink Edible Education Center, five days a week for the duration of the 7-week program and additional training and evaluation days. An essential responsibility will be ensuring the safety and welfare of children in the program.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:

• lead activities for a group of 12 children from 9-3 Monday through Friday
• ensure the safety of youth participants
• work with staff to plan, organize, and facilitate activities
• lead and support nature-based learning activities for 6-12 year olds
• create an environment of joy and excitement about nature-based learning
• assist in the management of materials
• participation in training programs
