OJCF partners with individuals and families to help them achieve their heartfelt philanthropic goals in support of the Jewish and broader communities and partners with communal organizations to help them be effective long-term stewards of their mission and financial resources. OJCF reflects the broad-based generosity of the Jewish community as it grants approximately $9 million annually from donor-advised funds (DAFs) and stewards approximately $165 million in charitable assets.     Job Description

    OJCF seeks a reliable, detail‑oriented Fundholder Services Coordinator to support the day-to-day stewardship and programs of the Foundation. This hourly, non-exempt position focuses on administrative support across fundholder activities.

    The Fundholder Services Coordinator plays a central role in delivering exceptional experiences for fundholders. This position serves as a primary point of contact for fundholders, providing responsive support, thoughtful guidance, and proactive problem-solving through the lifecycle of their philanthropic engagement.

    This role is well‑suited for someone who enjoys working with individuals, families, and communal organizations, thrives in a fast‑paced, high‑change environment, and wants to contribute to a mission‑driven organization through dependable operational and administrative support, including regular interaction with internal staff and people outside the organization.

    Responsibilities

      • Provide administrative support to the fundholder stewardship staff.
      • Handle DAF grants and inquiries.
      • Manage gift acknowledgments.
      • Support fundholder events and planning.
      • Assist with workshops and trainings.
      • Manage agency and donor fund onboarding.
      • Assist in coordinating marketing initiatives across departments.
      • Provide board and staff support.
      • Assist with office coordination.
      • Provide a variety of clerical and administrative functions and duties.

    Experience & Qualifications

    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
    • Comfort working with databases and CRM systems and ability to learn customized systems.
    • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and sound judgment.
    • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
    • Preferred experience in a customer service role.
    • Preferred experience with event planning.

    Experience in a nonprofit or foundation environment is preferred but not required. A successful candidate will enjoy working on a small team and be capable of navigating complex, shifting priorities. A commitment to OJCF’s mission and values is essential. Knowledge of Jewish practices or experience within the Jewish community is welcomed but not required.

    Compensation and Benefits

    This is an hourly, non‑exempt position paying $24.00–$26.00 per hour, depending on experience. The position is full‑time, 40 hours per week, with the possibility of hybrid work. Some evening or weekend work may be required. Benefits currently include Health, Dental, Vision, PTO, and a retirement plan.
