    • Ensure fiscal integrity through robust internal controls, diligent risk assessment, and compliance management.

    Organizational Operations

    • Develop and implement efficient processes that support operational excellence as JobsFirst scales its impact.

    Compliance and Risk Management

    • Ensure that JobsFirst adheres to all financial regulations and compliance requirements, including the preparation and submission of necessary audits, tax filings, and federal and state reports.
    • Establish and maintain a risk management system that proactively identifies and mitigates potential risks to the organization.

    Collaborative Partnership

    • Collaborate with Solution and development teams to align financial strategies with funding streams and grant management, ensuring sustainability and financial viability.
    • Serve as the primary liaison to the Board Finance & Audit Committee, facilitating open communication and providing financial oversight.

    Stakeholder Engagement

    • Partner with external stakeholders, including financial institutions, auditors, and investors to maintain positive relationships and bolster organizational credibility.
    • Engage in key discussions on strategic initiatives, providing financial insights and analysis to inform decision-making.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree or CPA designation is highly preferred.
    • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in financial leadership roles; experience in the nonprofit sector, especially with government grants and funding compliance, is a significant advantage.
    • Proven expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
