Girl Scouts Nation’s Capital is seeking a Digital Officer to join our Marketing & Communications team. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and detail-oriented digital communications professional who enjoys balancing content creation, analytics, social media, and digital operations in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety in their work. One day, you may be updating website content and building email campaigns, while the next day you could be scheduling social media content, supporting digital advertising efforts, analyzing campaign performance, or photographing an event.

    • Capture and organize photography and digital assets for campaigns and events.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to support council-wide communications and marketing initiatives.

    What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is creative, organized, collaborative, and excited about digital communications. You should enjoy both the creative and technical sides of digital marketing and feel comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines.

    You should have:

    • Experience with digital communications, social media management, content publishing, or related work.
    • Experience working with websites, content management systems, email platforms, and social media scheduling tools.
    • Strong writing, organization, and communication skills.

    • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
    • Comfort adapting content for different audiences and digital platforms.
    • Willingness to work occasional early mornings, evenings, or weekends for events and campaigns.

    Bonus Points

    • Experience working in a nonprofit, membership-based, mission-driven, or youth-serving organization.
    • Experience with tools such as Sprout Social, Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Canva, or Adobe Experience Manager.
    • Experience with photography, digital asset management, or event coverage.
    • Familiarity with SEO and accessibility best practices.
