    Description

    Established in 1968, Person to Person is a community-supported

    agency that provides assistance to families and individuals as they move toward stability with

    healthy food, clothing, housing assistance and a path to economic opportunity. The vision that

    guides P2P’s work is “thriving, hunger-free homes.” With a financial budget of approximately $6MM,

    an additional $10MM in annual “in-kind” donations, and over 35,000 volunteer hours donated

    annually, P2P is a well-established and innovative agency. More than 90% of all donations go

    directly to programs, which include four full-time food pantries including two mobile food pantries

    (P2P on Wheels), a Clothing Center, a Financial Opportunity Center™ wraparound casework services,

    summer camperships for children, and college and vocational scholarship aid to students seeking to

    change the trajectory of the next generation.

    We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Part-Time Marketing Associate to support the Chief

    Marketing Officer (CMO) in advancing P2P’s overall marketing and communications initiatives, with a

    focus on our digital presence. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about social good

    and understands how to translate a nonprofit's mission into compelling online content. This position

    will report directly to the CMO.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    Social Media:

    • Develop, schedule, and publish engaging content across social media platforms (Facebook,

    Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) in alignment with our brand voice and mission to support Development,

    Volunteer, and Program Departments.

    • Monitor social media channels, respond to comments, and foster community engagement
    • Assist in planning and executing social media campaigns tied to fundraising drives, awareness

    initiatives, and program announcements

    • Track and report on key social media and website metrics; prepare reports and

    presentations for the CMO, CEO and Board of Directors

    Overall Marketing & Communications Support:

    • Perform timely updates to the organization's website, including news posts, event listings, staff

    pages, and program information

    • Collaborate with program staff to gather stories, photos, and create content that brings our work

    to life online

    • Support Program and Volunteer departments with up-to-date and compelling collateral
    • Support the development of email newsletters and other digital communications as needed

    Requirements & Qualifications

    • Commitment to the Mission and Vision of P2P and to the community being served.
    • Belief that a commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion will provide the best

    environment, experience and services for everyone, and especially the P2P community.

    • 1–3 years of experience in graphic design and social media management, digital marketing, or a

    related field

    • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat Pro)

    preferred.

    • Proficiency with Canva, major social media platforms, and scheduling tools
    • Basic Wordpress website content management experience
    • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with an eye for visual storytelling
    • Familiarity with Salesforce and Constant Contact a plus
    • Passion for social services, community advocacy, or nonprofit work
    • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities across organizational departments, and

    meet deadlines

    • Experience with social media analytics and reporting is a plus willingness to learn new skills

    and work on different and evolving projects.

    • Possess warmth, sense of humor, honesty and compassion.
    • Ability to lift 40 pounds, while twisting and bending.

    Compensation and Schedule

    • $25 per hour
