    About the Role

    Inkwell Montessori is seeking a part-time Admissions and Enrollment Manager to help guide families through the process of learning about and joining our school community.

    This role focuses on outreach, relationship-building, and enrollment. The person in this position will respond to inquiries, communicate with interested families, help coordinate information sessions and tours, and support the overall enrollment process. The role also includes helping to identify, connect with, and recruit local families who may be a good fit for the school through community outreach and relationship-building.

    The role is hybrid. Some work can be done remotely, while other responsibilities will take place in Cambridge, particularly during information sessions, tours, and community outreach events.

    Responsibilities

    Identify, connect with, and recruit prospective families in Cambridge and surrounding communities who may be a good fit for Inkwell Montessori

    Build relationships with local parent networks, early childhood programs, and community organizations to introduce families to the school

    Follow up with interested families and guide them through the process from first inquiry to enrollment

    Respond to inquiries from prospective families in a timely and thoughtful way

    Coordinate and support information sessions and school tours

    Communicate with families through email, phone, and messaging platforms

    Maintain organized records of inquiries, applications, and enrollment progress

    Support outreach efforts and communications related to enrollment

    Qualifications

    Strong communication and organizational skills

    Comfort speaking with families and building relationships

    Experience in admissions, early childhood education, school operations, or community outreach is helpful but not required

    Familiarity with Montessori education or interest in learning more about it

    Ability to work independently and manage follow-through

    Schedule and Compensation

    Part-time, approximately 10–15 hours per week. This role includes a mix of flexible remote work and occasional in-person responsibilities in Cambridge.

    Compensation ranges from $20 to $40 per hour, depending on experience.

    An enrollment bonus will also be offered. Once the first five families enroll, a bonus of $150 will be provided for each additional family enrolled between families 6 and 12.

    Level of Language Proficiency

    Fluency in English is required. Additional languages such as Spanish, Portuguese, Haitian Creole, or Amharic are strongly welcomed
