    Description

Nest is a non-profit supporting the responsible growth and creative engagement of the artisan and maker economy to build a world of greater gender equity and economic inclusion. Through a suite of holistic programming, Nest is reimagining the future of work and advocating for the interests of overlooked artisan and maker businesses to advance gender equity and deepen economic inclusion for women and vulnerable populations in the United States and around the world. Nest supports over 3,500 micro and small businesses as they develop their operations to access meaningful market opportunities and achieve long-term success.

Nest is a fully remote company, so the Market Access Partnerships Contractor is vital to our success. The Market Access Partnerships 6-month contract support role will own the day-to-day execution, coordination, and partner success across Nest’s portfolio of prospective and active global brand partnerships. This role ensures every partnership is delivered smoothly, consistently, and to a high standard, working closely with and reporting to the Senior Director of Brand Partnerships to align execution with strategic growth, intentional relationship development, and revenue expansion.

    Role Autonomy & Expectations:

The Contractor is expected to participate in weekly 60-minute touch-base calls with his/her supervisor to review the status of the ongoing program implementation and join weekly team meetings for the duration of the contract. Other meetings will be considered optional unless otherwise noted as supporting the above-stated deliverables.

    Small-Scale Sourcing Partnerships

Manage the end-to-end execution and relationship management for smaller, standardized sourcing partnerships, supporting brand partners throughout the life of their engagement to encourage renewal and expansion.

    • Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for small-scale sourcing partners once contracts are executed.
    • Coordinate standard scopes of work, timelines, and asset requests for sourcing-focused engagements.
    • Facilitate introductory calls, check-ins, and follow-ups using established templates and processes.
    • Outreach to selected artists for introductions and conduct timely and thorough communications for follow-up (emails, phone calls, social outreach).
    • Manage basic partner communications and updates, escalating issues, risks, or scope changes to the Sr Director as needed.
      • Coordinating with Sr Director on contract review, follow-ups, and approvals.
      • Scheduling and confirming all external calls with required participants.
      • Facilitating partner-call agendas, weekly Asana reviews, and flagging priority items for the Sr Director.
    • Ensure accurate documentation of contracts, deliverables, and communications in CRM and internal tools (ex., Market Access tracker).
    • Track brand partner activity (launches, announcements, industry engagement, PR, and social) beyond those related to Nest to identify expansion and upsell opportunities ahead of renewal cycles.
    • Ensure delivery aligns with the partner’s expectations by regularly reviewing deliverables, scopes of work, and reporting requirements.
    • Ensure consistent delivery and a positive partner experience for all sourcing contracts, with clear ownership that supports both day-to-day management and broader partnership growth.

Prospecting and Pitching Support | Brand Partnerships Programs/Services

Provide structured prospecting and pitch-development support to accelerate new lead development and keep pipelines organized and actionable.

    • Identify and track relevant events, trade shows, and market-access opportunities for Brand Partnership Team participation.
    • Research and identify key staff at target brands, audit and maintain accurate contact records, and update CRM Contacts and Accounts, including email addresses and roles.
    • Log all external calls in CRM and set follow-up tasks as needed.
    • Maintain a real-time log of active prospect outreach for leadership visibility.
    • Support the Sr Director in developing Canva pitches and proposals.
    • Update Opportunity Stages in CRM and generate portfolio reports for active partnerships and tracked opportunities as needed.
    • Under the Sr Director’s direction, draft and send outbound outreach to prospective partners (brands, designers, and retailers, etc.).

Product Reports and Curations | Brand Partnerships Programs/Services

Create maker and artisan reports for all market access opportunities once under contract.

    • Research, identify, select, and vet high-fit makers to support brand goals.
    • Execute market access and licensing reports including business profiles (e.g., sourcing reports, gift guides, maker profiles, and product-related promotions for events, activations, pop-ups, marketplaces, and brand-sponsored L&D programs).
    • Solicit and organize all onboarding materials (social kits, new vendor forms, photography assets, NDAs, etc.) for artists and makers across projects with brand partners.
    • Onboard and administer/manage surveys for events, activations, pop-ups, marketplaces, and brand-sponsored L&D programs.
    • Support back-end program implementation (e.g., coordinate calls with makers, organize artwork in Drive) to facilitate timely asset delivery.
    • Ongoing collection and organization of visual assets in Canva or Airtable to feature makers in market access-related opportunities (proposals, pitches, guides, reports).

    Impact Reporting & Materials

Support the creation and management of partner-facing and internal reporting, including

impact, recaps, and case study assets that demonstrate the value of Nest’s work and partners’ satisfaction.

    • Produce high-quality partner updates, impact reports, and recap decks.
    • Build and maintain a centralized hub for case studies and testimonials across Brand Partnerships and the broader organization.
    • Collect completed market access surveys from participants for all brand collaboration programs.
