    Description

    Bilingual English/Spanish, Full-Time

    Founded in 2017, Annapolis Immigration Justice Network (AIJN) is dedicated to connecting immigrants to quality legal counsel and support. We are seeking a compassionate, organized, and driven Community Resource Navigator to join our team. The ideal candidate has a strong background in case management and outreach and is committed to connecting immigrants with needed resources and support. This role is central to our direct service work and serves as a critical bridge between immigrant neighbors and the broader network of legal and community services.

    Key Responsibilities

    Case Management

    • Screen clients, complete intakes, and maintain accurate records in database
    • Coordinate logistics and manage communication between clients, attorneys, and internal teams, including accompaniment and transportation support, for consultations, representation, hearings, and other appointments
    • Track progress, appointments, hearings, referrals, and outcomes and provide follow-up and reporting

    Wraparound Support

    • Use culturally responsive, trauma-informed approaches to service coordination and resource navigation to support to clients navigating complex and often stressful circumstances, including family separation and detention
    • Connect clients with appropriate behavioral health services, counseling, and crisis resources
    • Assist clients with family preparedness needs through resource identification and referral

    Referrals & Community Partnerships

    • Represent AIJN at community events, informational sessions, Know Your Rights workshops, and presentations to help community members understand available immigration legal services, community resources, and options for support
    • Deliver presentations to key stakeholders and partner agencies
    • Develop and cultivate strong relationships with cross-referring partner organizations to ensure clients receive timely and coordinated care

    Required Skills & Qualifications

    • Bilingual in English and Spanish (written and verbal) required
    • 2+ years of experience in case management, social services, community navigation
    • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
    • Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices and mental health resources
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple cases and priorities
    • Proficiency with Salesforce or similar case management database
    • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment
    • Ability to work in-person at AIJN’s office in Annapolis and travel off-site, including evening and weekend events
    • Commitment to AIJN’s mission and serving vulnerable populations
