π Role Overview
This is a critical data and backend systems leadership role.
You will be responsible for building and managing the data backbone of the entire ecosystem, ensuring that all systems:
- are structured
- are accurate
- are scalable
- support real-time participation and funding
π You are not just managing dataβyou are ensuring the integrity of the entire system.
π― Core Responsibilities
- Data Architecture & System Design
- Design and manage databases for:
- nominees (5,000+)
- schools (EduAid Africa)
- voting and participation records
- membership systems
- donation and wallet systems
- ambassadors and chapters
- Data Conversion & Structuring
- Lead the conversion of 1,760 existing nominees into a structured, dynamic database
- Ensure clean schema design for scaling from:
- π 5,000 β 50,000+ records
- Data Integrity & Governance
- Ensure:
- no duplicate records
- accurate data validation
- structured data flow across systems
- proper access control and permissions
- Reporting & Analytics
- Build dashboards for:
- nominee tracking
- voting analytics
- membership growth
- funding and donations
- Provide actionable insights to leadership and teams
- System Integration Support
- Work closely with the Fullstack Engineer to:
- integrate backend systems
- ensure API reliability
- support real-time system performance
π₯ Team Leadership
- Manage:
- data entry interns
- validation teams
- Ensure quality control across all data processes
- Train team members on data accuracy standards
π― Performance Targets (MANDATORY)
You will be evaluated based on:
- Successful structuring of database for 5,000+ nominees
- Full conversion of 1,760 existing nominees into dynamic system
- Zero major data inconsistencies
- Real-time reporting systems operational
- Clean integration across all platforms
- Data supporting:
- membership growth
- voting systems
- donations and funding tracking
π° Compensation & Growth
- Probation (Months 1β3): β¦100,000 β β¦180,000
- Post-Probation (Month 4): β¦120,000 β β¦216,000 (+20%)
