WESTSIDE INFANT-FAMILY NETWORK

The Westside Infant-Family Network (WIN) gives kids a fighting chance by providing in-home mental health care to children between the ages of zero and five and their caregivers. Our goal is to help families deal with mental health issues such as postpartum depression, anxiety, and post-traumatic stress disorder before they permanently affect the mental, physical, and social-emotional growth of their children. Our work is rooted in neuroscience showing the critical role that childhood experiences play in brain development.

As a collaboration among nine Los Angeles agencies, WIN provides families not only with mental health care, but also ensures they have access to support services and basic necessities such as food and shelter.

WIN’s innovative focus on mental health in early childhood has garnered national recognition. It was selected as one of only 12 programs in the country to advise Harvard University’s Center on the Developing Child, the National Conference of State Legislatures, and other groups on a project to achieve breakthrough outcomes for young children.
