The Acting Company

  • Mission

The Acting Company's mission is to develop emerging actors by touring theater coast-to-coast.

Our vision is to connect the past to the present as we re-imagine the future.

    • We center next generation global majority artists because their perspectives and creativity are essential to the continued evolution of our form.
    • We aspire to engage community spirit among neighbors in our diverse rural, suburban, and urban audiences.
    • We commission new adaptations to tour in direct conversation with great works of the past as an invitation to today’s playwrights to interrogate timeless themes from their contemporary vantage point.
