The Salvation Army - Harbor Light

  • About Us

The Salvation Army Harbor Light is the largest residential substance abuse recovery program in Chicago. We provide comprehensive recovery services and a unique community that addresses the physical, spiritual, and psychological needs of people seeking to overcome the diseases of alcohol and substance abuse.

A sequence of treatment programs enables residents to set and achieve personal goals to overcome their illness, reestablish their lives, and return to the community as productive citizens.

In addition to our recovery services, Harbor Light offers an array of services to the broader community through our church corps activities, homeless feeding services, and programming for seniors.
