Building sustainable wealth in under-resourced communities first requires breaking cycles of poverty through a combination of financial literacy education and business/leadership development. Under-resourced communities that learn financial and technical literacy skills will become healthier, more self-determined, and less vulnerable. The lessons and benefits of foundational financial literacy can be extended and leveraged into cultivating entrepreneurship and startup leadership through strategic mentorship and coaching.

AFE Society engages the community, assessing personal needs and then providing the individualized coaching and support required to build individual financial literacy and to cultivate or support entrepreneurs and startup leaders. The ultimate goal of these services is creating generational wealth in communities most in need of economic development.
