    The New Britain Youth Museum and Hungerford Nature Center are non-profit educational institutions dedicated to enhancing the learning experience for children, young adults, and adults in Connecticut. Through the collection, preservation, care and exhibition of material culture, natural history collections, plants and live animals the museums endeavor to create a greater understanding of the arts, the humanities, natural history, and science.

    Hungerford Nature Center in Kensington, CT offers educational programming, exhibits and special events that relate to science, natural history, the environment.
