Montana Innocence Project

  • About Us

The Montana Innocence Project is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to exonerating the innocent and preventing wrongful convictions. We use DNA and other evidence to advance credible claims of innocence through our interdisciplinary Innocence Clinic based at the University of Montana School of Law. We also work to improve our criminal justice system through proven public policy reforms, and through training and education for attorneys, law enforcement and other Montanans across the state.
