  • Mission

    The Disabled Players Committee of USA Table Tennis has the obligation and mission to conduct specialized tournaments, training opportunities, and education for and about disabled athletes who participate in the sport of table tennis. It is responsible for the annual conduct of the USA Paralympic Table Tennis Championships held in December in Las Vegas, NV. It also assure access to full participation in local, national, and international competitins for Table Tennis players with disabilities, conducts workshops for disabled participants and trainers who work along with them, and agencies which provide services and programming for them.

    About Us

    The Disabled Players Committee of the USATT gets support for conduct of competitive and training events from the USA Olympic Committee through the US Paralympic Committee, USA Table Tennis, and private donations and grants. Our largest annual event is an international competition held annually in Las Vegas in December which brings in competitors from all over the world to compete in the sport of Table Tennis. Athletes are classified based on the impact that their physical disability has on their movement capabilities and compete against others with comparable disabilities.
