Striving to make our communities healthier and stronger for our families.

    About Us

The Urban Minority Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Outreach Programs of Franklin County (UMADAOPFC) provides alcohol, tobacco, and other drug (ATOD) prevention and treatment services using evidence-based, culturally specific, and age appropriate strategies for urban, underserved communities, including reentry and wraparound services. UMADAOPFC’s treatment and prevention programs are certified by Ohio MHAS. Our Mission is to create healthy communities in Franklin County. Since 1985, we have partnered with a wide array of service providers, businesses, schools, and other organizations and agencies to insure our community is being provided with sufficient resources that are culturally relevant. We also help families navigate social service systems because it is difficult for a struggling family to learn how each service or program works, with many families giving up before they access a service.
