About Us

Council for Relationships, a preeminent non-profit counseling, education and research center, was founded in 1932 as Marriage Council of Philadelphia, and remains the oldest relationship counseling and training center in the country. We provide services for individuals, couples, children and families at thirteen locations throughout the Delaware Valley. Council for Relationships' diverse staff specializes in areas such as:

couples/marital therapy anger management anxiety depression separation/divorce, blended families, parenting, co-parenting after divorce issues related to gender roles LGBT concerns sex therapy Our staff includes top psychologists, psychiatrists, social workers, other mental health providers and clergy. We offer our counseling services on a sliding fee basis to individuals, couples, children and families in hopes of bringing happier and healthier lives to our clients.
