Friends of Lake Warner and the Mill River are dedicated to the preservation, improvement, and responsible use of the Lake Warner and the Mill River in Hadley, Massachusetts and the surrounding watershed.

Lake Warner & the Mill River has a rich history as it is one of the oldest historic landmarks in Hadley, Massachusetts. Lake Warner was formed from a dam in 1670 of the Mill River and has been preserved and maintained for decades by a team of dedicated professionals. Our main goal in preservation and maintenance work was to have the area be an oasis for sightseers and bird watchers, foster outdoor recreation like canoeing, be a natural refuge for wildlife, and encourage nature education.
