THEATRE DU REVE INC

Atlanta-based Théâtre du Rêve (Theater of the Dream) is a professional theater company that brings French language and Francophone culture to life on the American stage. Our vision is to inspire audiences to expand their worldview through exposure to the French language and Francophone cultures. Since our founding in 1996, Théâtre du Rêve (TdR) has performed classical and contemporary plays, company-created productions, and new commissions by French, Belgian, American, and Canadian playwrights for audiences of all ages. Théâtre du Rêve focuses on one main performance per year, in the spring, as well as salons throughout the year.

We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit engaging a diverse group of participants and catering to an equally diverse audience. We are committed to serving a wider audience because we feel strongly that Francophone theatre is not simply for French speakers. It is a strong artistic heritage shared and appreciated by all lovers of art. We have developed several innovations over the years to make our work more accessible, including English supertitles at most productions, and our Salon Series events, which are always in English.
