Bastrop Wildfire Volunteer Reception Center

Bastrop, TX | www.bastroprelief.org

About Us

The Volunteer Reception Center (VRC) functions as a central registration location for those interested in volunteering with the Bastrop County wildfire relief effort. The VRC is run by AmeriCorps members from non-profit organizations Environmental Corps (E-Corps) and Casa Verde Builders at American Youthworks of Austin, Texas. Volunteer Reception Center has been set up in Bastrop in order to streamline the flow of incoming volunteers and match them with organizations involved in the response efforts. We are reaching out to the greater Texas community asking for people’s time and service as the Bastrop. The Bastrop community no longer needs material donations due to an overwhelming influx of goods. Financial donations are always accepted and appreciated, but more so, Bastrop County is in need of people’s time

If you are interested in volunteering with the VRC, please register online (www.bastroprelief.org/volunteer) or in person (In the Calvary Baptist Church, 3001 Loop 150 E, Bastrop, TX 78602).
