Balthasar & Speyr

The Saint John Corporation has as its mission:

• charitable and educational purposes within the meaning of Section 501 c(3) of the Internal Revenue code of 1986.
• more specifically, it aims at making the life and mission of Hans Urs von Balthasar and Adrienne von Speyr more widely known through, events, translations, podcasts

The Saint John Corporation created the website balthasarspeyr.org in 2020 aiming at making more widely accessible the work of two authors:

• Hans Urs von Balthasar was a priest, theologian, retreat-master, publisher, editor, translator, co-founder of a secular institute. He bore exemplary witness to Christ, the Alpha and Omega who reveals God and unveils the destiny of creation.
• Adrienne von Speyr was called to live the life of heaven on earth. Even her work as a doctor flowed from loving obedience to this call. Hers was a life in the world of prayer: the life of the Trinity opened to men, the life whose light reveals to us the true nature and purpose of creation.
