  • About Us

StoryCorps is a national oral history nonprofit whose mission is to provide people of all backgrounds and beliefs an opportunity to record, share, and preserve the stories of their lives. In our 11 years of service we have archived over 50,000 interviews with over 90,000 participants at the American Folk Life Center at the Library of Congress. Many hear our weekly broadcasts on NPR’s Morning Edition and see our animated shorts on PBS.
