About Us
Marine Mammals of Maine (MMoME) is dedicated to marine mammal and sea turtle response, rescue, care, research and education. We provide a hotline for the public to report stranded animals. Our volunteers rescue animals when appropriate and bring them to our triage and rehabilitation center, soon to reopen in Brunswick Maine. We operate under a stranding agreement from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). We are funded by grants as well as private and corporate donations.
