    Festivals, DC., Ltd., a non-profit 501-c-3 organization launched in 2004 with a mission with a mission to create, develop, implement and support cultural and education programs in Washington, DC through the presentation of concerts, festivals, symposia, workshops, master classes, lectures and demonstrations, and other programs related to Jazz, Blues, Latin and World music. Since 2005, Festivals, DC has annually produced the Duke Ellington Jazz Festival which pays tribute to the legacy of the most important and celebrated musical geniuses of the 20th century – composer/pianist/bandleader and native Washingtonian, Duke Ellington.
