Friends of Netarts Bay WEBS
Mission
Friends of Netarts Bay WEBS is a non-profit organization building a community of environmental stewards around the Netarts Bay watershed, from Cape Meares to Cape Lookout. Our small staff and team of dedicated volunteers create opportunities for local residents and visitors to learn about and experience the unique natural and cultural history of the Netarts Bay area.
About Us
WEBS strives to:
● Use the Netarts Bay area as a learning lab and environmental model for watersheds, estuaries, beaches and seas.
● Build a "learning community" between Cape Meares and Cape Lookout that encourages people to become lifelong learners about the area and engage in stewardship of its rich natural and cultural history.
● Build partnerships with other organizations and people that will increase community pride in this special place and contribute to the vitality of the area.
● Collaborate with local education organizations.
