  • Mission

Our mission is to provide, plan, develop, operate, and coordinate a range of support services and supportive programs that will promote general welfare, self-independence, social and physical growth, and the quality of life of intellectually challenged individuals and their families.

    About Us

CHE is a program working with young adults with intellectual disabilities! We aim to serve our community and it is our passion and our mission in life to provide all our teens and young adults with equivalent opportunities as their peers for their maximal growth. Our experiences in working with such individuals spans decades. CHE inspires and develops socialization and communication skills, building confidence and aspirations so that everyone can achieve their goals in life.

Right now, there are very few options and opportunities for an in-neighborhood afternoon and weekend program for our young adults in Brooklyn. Their families need and deserve better. Our organization operates programs during the week and on weekends for daily living skills, vocational training, placement, and performing arts to help our young people achieve their highest potential and develop their capacities to interact with others in peace and joy. We work to build a strong community of support for both our participants and their families.
