Greenheart

Greenheart is a nonprofit that is designing, and will launch and operate a zero-emission, solar- and wind- powered cargo ship for use in Aid Delivery, Fair Trade, Poverty Abatement, and Environmental Awareness. This new type of environmentally-sustainable transportation will sail a global route, carrying cargos of development aid and Fair Trade goods. We will also use the ship as a promotional platform to advance the ideas of Renewable Energy, International Cooperation, and Sustainable Industry. During her worlwide operations, Greenheart will research the applicability of this type of cheap,clean transport in developing communities, and train sailors from these target communities. Specific business applications for the ship, such as fishing, ferry, and eco-tourism, will also be tested during the maiden voyage.
